WHAT ARE THE BEST BEAUTY FACIAL TOOLS?
1. Jade Roller and Gua Sha Set
When these beauty face tools first came out, I used mine without chilling it, what a missed opportunity. Trust me on this one, it works so much better if you allow the jade roller to chill in the fridge for about 5 minutes.
The set comes with a jade roller to reduce puffiness and a jade Gau Sha to sculpt the jawline. I bring mine with me when traveling because they are small and do a pretty good job the morning after a long flight.
When using the jade roller, start with your neck and then move to the middle of your face working the fluid away from your sinus area to reduce swelling. Use the smaller end around your eye area. For the Gua Sha(shown below on the right), follow your jawline from your chin to your ear to allow the fluids to gently flow away from your face. Use these tools daily to get the best results.
2. Ice Face Roller
The face roller is icy cold, definitely wakes you up! Its chilling minimizes pores and reduces puffiness similar to the jade roller but the cold can lasts up to 45 minutes to an hour, which works great if you need a little more time to work all your areas.
Most of these beauty tools come with a detachable roller that you put in the freezer for about an hour and as a bonus, the ice roller is large enough to use on the neck and shoulders to reduce inflammation and muscle tension.
3. Sleep Mask
I was introduced to sleep masks while flying to Europe when I couldn’t sleep and now they are an everyday beauty tool for me. We need the best sleep possible and if you don’t have blackout curtains these are your next best option.
I prefer ones will soft mold sleep mask. These are great because they don’t press on your eyes and allow you to blink.
Did you know that when we sleep our skin makes new collagen? So getting enough rest could lead to fewer wrinkles. These masks are a must-have beauty tool for the face.
WHAT CAN MAKE MY SKIN GLOW NATURALLY?
4. Exfoliating Towels for Face
If you are like me and prefer to keep things simple on most days, you’ll love these exfoliating towels. They are two-sided washcloths, one side has a rougher exfoliating side, while the other has a softer side. It’s nice to use both. They are lightweight and easy to wash which to me is much more sanitary than the popular buffs which tend to be a magnet for bacteria.
I use these exfoliating towels for removing makeup and dead skin cells and they leave my skin smooth and ready for whatever product I’m in the mood for.
I buy the ten-pack because it’s cheaper per cloth and better than exfoliating gloves because you don’t have to take the glove on and off which can be a pain.
5. Cleaning Brush
Cleaning brushes have come a long way over the past few years and are much more affordable making them a practical choice for everyday use. If you’re looking for a deeper clean than the exfoliating face towels this is a good choice.
Nowadays, you can buy a cleaning brush with a feature that kills 99% of the germs. Most come with replaceable scrub heads, one for everyday cleaning and another for exfoliation.
6. Konjac Sponge
If you’re looking for something natural that you can use every day to have a smooth face, the konjac sponge is a great fit. I prefer to use mine once a week. These biodegradable sponges are made from the konjac root and will foam up with your best cleanser!
They last a good while, about two to three weeks depending on how often you use yours. Although a konjac sponge looks like it might be scratchy, they actually feel soft against your face and are great for oily skin.
7. Facial Razor for Women or Dermaplaning Tool
Sometimes we have hair where we would rather not. I used to be terrified when I’d watch my friend shave her upper lip. But now I use a dermaplaning tool on my eyebrows when I have flyaway hairs going rogue. Just use it sparingly with gentle pressure.
This affordable beauty tool for the face is very popular and can be used to create a smooth flawless look by carefully shaving off facial hair or you can use it like I do to keep my eyebrow lines in good shape.

So far, we’ve been discussing the most budget-friendly beauty tools for the face. Now let’s pull out the power house players when it comes to DIY face beauty tools.
8. Microcurrent Tool For Face
I prefer a mini microcurrent tool because it’s an easy-to-carry pro beauty tool that doesn’t break the bank. I like it because it’s a lot less evasive and expensive (around $150) than in-office treatments and I can do it in 5 minutes at home.
Since we are touching on cost, the main reason I chose the mini microcurrent tool option is, it gives you a chance to try a more affordable option before investing in the more premium full-face product. This tool tones, lifts, and firms skin. It does take time before you see results but after about 90 days you should notice more tightness on the face and jowls.
9. LED Face Light Therapy
Okay, this device looks scary but the results are hands down some of the best I’ve seen for dark spots and acne. It provides a lot of bang for the buck. It typically runs about $150, look for one with multiple light treatments to increase blood flow, improve pigmentation, and accelerate tissue metabolism.
LED Face Light Therapy also helps reduce redness (like on your nose), smoothes fine lines, reduces acne, and my favorite…..soften those dark spots.
The downside is it takes about 20 minutes 3 times a week to see results but think of it as an investment in yourself. Use this time to relax, pray, or meditate. Make it part of your “makeup me time”
One word of caution about this beauty tool, make sure to use sunscreen after you start this treatment. I made the mistake of skipping it from time to time and my largest old spot started to come back and seems more resistant to the treatment.
10. Microderm Abrasion and Suction Tool
If you’ve ever had a Microderm abrasion at the spa and left with the smoothest skin ever, you’re going to love this pro beauty tool for the face. This little tool won’t disappoint you in providing a radiant glow plus the process stimulates the production of collagen.
It’s a toss-up between this product and the LED Light Therapy if you’re trying to choose one premium beauty tool for the face. I’d say invest in both over time because they offer two different long-term benefits. Expect to pay about $200 for a good Microderm abrasion tool (about the cost of two facials).
Bonus with this tool you can complete your own treatment in less than 10 minutes 2-3 times a week and the diamond tips last about 9 months.
11. Ultra-Infrared Energy Eye Contouring Beauty Roller
This is the Cadillac of beauty rollers. A company called MDNA, owned by Madonna who is known for her amazing skin offers one of the most popular infrared energy micro rollers for eyes and face.
The eye-contouring beauty roller is powered by invisible waves of Ultra-Infrared Energy from pure carbon. It’s said to reduce puffiness, relieve the look of tension above the brow, and smooth out expression lines. The cost is about $120.
This tool is on my gift list. If it helps Madonna look the way she does, I’m up for giving it a try.
